Senior auditor
Senior auditors should possess the following qualifications:
• A CPA or CPA candidate (with 150 or more college credit hours)
• Two to five years experience performing audit fieldwork
• Ability to communicate directly with clients orally and in writing
• Maturity, honesty and the ability to look at challenges as new opportunities
• An ability to work in a team environment with professionalism and enthusiasm
• A high level of computer proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing applications
• An extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
As a senior auditor, your work will consist of participating in planning, fieldwork and reporting on progressively larger audit engagements. You will obtain the required levels of continuing professional education to perform audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133. You will progress professionally by accepting increasing levels of responsibility, including the supervision of staff.
